God Will Help You Achieve Your Goals

The Bible does not have much to say directly about “goals.” Goal setting and achieving is a relatively modern concept; however, the Bible has a LOT to say about God helping people who obey Him and follow his Word about receiving their DESIRES. About having prayers answered. About asking and receiving. About blessing, prosperity, and abundance.

I have written a short white paper about why I believe that God will help you achieve your goals-provided that you choose to follow godly principles.

Here is just one of the passages:

“Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart (i.e. spirit, subconscious mind), but shall BELIEVE that those things which he SAITH shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he SAITH. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye DESIRE (i.e. your goal), when ye pray, BELIEVE that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:22-24

My Perspective

I am writing this from the perspective of a Bible believing Christian. Other material that I send over to my list will also have a Christian theme to it. If this bothers you, you may want to unsubscribe from my list.

Would You Like Me to Agree With You in Prayer?

You can magnify your spiritual power by finding a believer to agree with you. I have found that it is not wise to share your goals and desires with most people. Most people are not positive. Most people are filled with fear, doubts, and unbelief. It is counterproductive to share your goals with such people.

But it is very productive to find someone who will stand with you in belief that you can achieve your goals. It is even more productive if you and the other person are both Christians. Here is what Jesus said:

“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:18–20

So…if you would like me to agree with you in prayer regarding achieving a goal that is in harmony with the Word of God (and thus the will of God), I invite you to email me your request at whmarshall@earthlink.net. I’m Working on a Series of New Power Affirmations

It is December 31, 2016 as I write this. I am in the process of starting to write out a new series of Power Affirmations inspired by the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs. They will be organized by book and chapter in order to be easy to trace back to the source material. At the present time, I plan on making these available in text form only, not as recordings.
