Living at the "Speed of Life"

Has anyone else noticed that everything in life seems to be accelerating?  If you look back through history, you will notice that is a long term trend.  What used to take years, now takes months or less.   What used to take days, now takes hours, minutes, or even seconds.  Think about it.  World travel.  Communications.  Cars.  Manufacturing.  Financial markets.

Does anyone think it is going to ever get slower?

What does this have to do with affirmations?

It doesn't have as much to do with affirmations per se as much as our ability to think fast and react faster.  We have to operate at the speed of life.  There is a greater need to make better decisions faster.  To act intuitively.  To use our intuition.  I feel the need.  The need for speed.

Have you ever watched a star athlete?  How quick they are?  Where they born that way?  While there may have been some latent talent, most of their ability comes from practice, practice, practice.  Repetition of though and action.  Constantly rehearsing the results they want in advance.  They get so good that in game situations, the best athletes act intuitively.  By habit.

We can train ourselves for success by practice as well.  The best way I know to do that is by repetition of thought.  Hence, affirmations.

But how do get enough affirmations fast enough to make a significant difference?  Technology.  The old way of doing affirmations is like using a horse and buggy to get to work.  Eventually you'll get there, but it may take a while.  And you'll probably be a bit dusty and tired from the journey.

There is a better and simpler way.

How I Use My 488 Power Affirmations

Once I wrote out my affirmations, I knew I had a problem.  I could tell that the affirmations were great.  And I knew they would help me condition my mind to be more positive.  But there were so many!  How could I get through them all?  How could I ever find the time to use them consistently?

  • I tried repeating them in front of a mirror--I found that this was difficult for me to do consistently.

  • I tried writing them out long hand, but that took too much time to do everyday.

  • I tried using posters, but I couldn't get enough repetitions.  And could only do a couple of affirmations at a time.

  • I tried using cards, but they were too inconvenient.

Do any of these problems sound familiar to you?  What has been your experience?

These are "horse and buggy" methods.

As I thought about it, it occurred to me that I needed a simple way to effortlessly do my affirmations while doing other things--like getting dressed in the morning, driving, or working out.

I decided to record the affirmations.

But how to do that so that I ended up with recordings that were easy to listen to and easy to repeat an endless number of times?

I experimented with a number of ways (this was before it was practical to record on a computer):

  • I tried recording them on a pocket cassette recorder.  But the sound was terrible and the result was linear--there was no way to isolate and repeat a single affirmation.  And there was no way to create a custom list of affirmations so that I could pick only the ones I wanted to concentrate on.

  • I bought a mini-disc recorder and microphone.  Remember the mini-disc?  They were like CDs, only smaller.  Now I could put each affirmation on a separate track.  The sound was better, but still unacceptable to me.

  • Finally, I decided to rent time in a professional recording studio.  I recorded each of the affirmations about 5 to 7 times in order to get some vocal variety in the recordings.  Wow!  Now I had recordings with pristine audio.  And I could burn separate tracks to CDs and listen on my CD player.  This meant that I could also take advantage of the repeat and shuffle mode functions on my player.

Have you ever tried recording your own affirmations?  If so, you have probably found out as I did that it's more difficult than you originally thought to create quality recordings.

Being able to listen to my affirmations everyday made all the difference for me.  I just turned on my CD player and started listening.  When I was inspired to, I repeated the affirmation out loud with the recording.  And I often used the repeat function to listen to the same affirmation multiple times.

This was before the MP3 and iPod revolution.  Once the iPod came along, I started listening on it with even better results.  With the iPod, it was easier to create my own custom playlists--even playlists that lasted for hours (a CD only holds about 70 minutes of audio).

Here Are 6 Full-Length Recordings You Can Listen to Right Now

Imagine that this player is really a portable digital player like the iPod.  Then imagine you have created a custom playlist of 6 Power Affirmations recordings that you want to focus on (your playlists can include as many affirmations recordings as you want).

After you download my recordings, that's exactly what's possible.  You can create an infinite number of playlists.  You can put affirmations in your pocket to take with you everywhere you go.

In just 5 minutes of listening to these 6 samples, you will get about 30 to 40 repetitions with very little human effort.  Let the recordings do the hard work while you relax, listen, and think about the affirmations.  This sets your mind free your mind to think about the affirmations and really saturate and magnetize your mind with the ideas.

These are actually 6 MP3 files, not one.  This sounds like one seamless recording, but there are really 6 separate MP3s.  This is essentially a playlist of 6 separate MP3 files.    There's over 8 hours of audio in all.

What do you think would happen if you were to fill your mind with positive thoughts like these on a daily basis?

Do you think these recordings would make it easier for you to use these affirmations everyday?

Having seen the improvements in my life from using these recordings for over 10 years myself, I think it makes the most sense for you to take advantage of them right away.   What do you think?

Load My 488 Power Affirmations Recordings onto Your Digital Player

If you have a digital player (like the iPod), you can carry all 488 recordings in your pocket wherever you want.  If you don't have a digital player, you can still burn them to a regular CD or listen on your computer.

Being able to listen to these recordings makes using the affirmations that are most important to you incredibly easy--much easier than repeating them in front of a mirror twice a day.  And because using the recordings is easier and more convenient for you, you will use the affirmations more frequently.

Why Isn't There Any Music on the Recordings?

Some people wonder why I haven't added background music to my recordings.  It's actually to your benefit that I didn't for three reasons:

  1. If I included music, I wouldn't have been able to keep each affirmation as a separate MP3.  That's because when you create your own custom playlists, the end result would be a jumbled mess.

  2. Your taste in music may be different than mine.

  3. Because of music rights and higher production costs, your cost to get the recordings would be much higher.

If You Want to Add Your Favorite Music, It's Simple...

If you want to add your favorite music to the recordings, there are two simple solutions:

  1. You can use a music editing program to mix your favorite instrumental music with the recordings.  I use Adobe Audition as my editor, but there are many available that will do the job.  If I had included music this wouldn't be possible--you'd be stuck with my choice.

  2. You could simply a create playlist of the affirmations and your favorite songs--including songs with vocals.  This is simpler and by far my favorite method of mixing the affirmations with motivational music.

For example, your playlist could look like this:

  • "Get Ready for This"
  • Affirmation 7
  • "I Believe I Can Fly"
  • Affirmation 5
  • Affirmation 1
  • "Good Vibrations"
  • "Flashdance - What a Feeling"
  • Affirmation 3
  • Affirmation 2
  • Affirmation 4
  • "Eye of the Tiger"
  • "Born to be Wild"
  • Affirmation 6
  • Affirmation 7
  • "Life Will Never Be the Same"

Note that the affirmations don't have to follow any specific order--you can put them anywhere you want.

Also notice that Affirmation 7 is in the list twice.  An affirmation can appear in the same playlist as many times as you like--and it doesn't take up any more memory in your iPod when you do.

Because this is a normal playlist, and the affirmations are just "songs" in the list, you can add endless variety using shuffle mode.

So you see, it's to your advantage that I didn't add any music.   Most people think this simple innovation is brilliant.  I'm not aware of anyone, anywhere online or offline who has created such a flexible system for using affirmations.

I've Gathered a List of 255 Songs
Used by Tony Robbins at His Seminars

I like using the many of the same songs Tony Robbins uses in his seminars because I find them very motivational.  If you have been to Tony's seminars, you likely recognize most of the songs in my sample list above.

When you get my recordings, I include a list in PDF format of 255 songs that Tony has used at some point.  As you might imagine, it took me many days of research to compile this list of songs.  Due to music rights issues, I can't include the actual songs, but many of them are inexpensively available from online services such as iTunes.

What are Some of the Ways You Can Use These Recordings?

You can listen to them anytime your hands are busy but your mind is free.  In fact, I am listening to my affirmations on my iPod right now as I type these words.  It's sooo easy to use these recordings to repeat your affirmations.

For example:

  1. Listen in your car while you are driving (my personal favorite way).
  2. Listen while you are surfing the internet.
  3. Listen while you are working on your computer.
  4. Listen while you are exercising or going for a walk.
  5. Listen while you are cleaning your home.
  6. Listen while you are running errands.
  7. Listen while you are getting dressed in the morning.
  8. Listen as you fall to sleep at night and when you wake up in the morning.

These recordings are simply the best way to maximize your use of these affirmations.  Can you imagine how your thoughts and your life can improve when you fill your mind with these thoughts?

Why Are These Features Important to You?

Because all of this flexibility allows you to create custom playlists of affirmations that will make it easier for you to stay positive, stay focused, and achieve your goals.  Also, these recordings are ready right now--you can start within minutes.

Based on my own experience and the feedback I have received from others using the recordings, here are some of the ways I believe listening to these Power Affirmations recordings will help you:

  1. Training for Your Intuition.  As I mentioned, life is moving faster.  Reaction times are shorter.  We need to live more intuitively.  And that requires training and practice.  Using a lot more affirmations in a shorter period of time with less effort.
  2. Inspiration to Action.  In his book "The Success Formula that Never Fails," W. Clement Stone listed his first principle as "inspiration to action."    Napoleon Hill described this as "a burning desire."  Tony Robbins describes this in his Personal Power program as your "why."  He says that if your "why" is strong enough, you will figure out the "how."

My personal favorite phrase to describe this benefit is "inspiration to action" because it gives you an easy way to measure your level of inspiration, desire, and commitment.  How?  By looking at your actions.  If you are inspired enough, then you are taking focused, positive, consistent action towards your goal.  If you are not inspired enough, then you are most likely not taking enough action.

Think about it.  When you take any kind of significant action, isn't it after you were inspired by some thought or idea or a picture in your imagination?  Maybe you were inspired by the love of your family.  Maybe by a mission or vision.  Maybe even by fear.  In most cases, maybe even all cases, we take action when we are inspired by a motive of some sort.

You will find that these affirmations will help you create and sustain your level of inspiration to the point of taking results-focused action.

  3. Positive Mental Attiude (PMA).  A positive attitude attracts a positive circumstances and a favorable response from other people.  It is a vital characteristic of a pleasing personality.  It increases courage and self-confidence.   The opposite of a positive mental attitude is a negative mental attitude (NMA).

Are you (and other people) more attracted to someone with a PMA or an NMA?  What is true of you is also true of others.

  4. Educational.    If you review my affirmations, you will find that there are a number of important principles you can learn.  And because you are employing the principle of repetition, these recordings can help you master the ideas so that they become a matter of habit.

  5. Focus.  These recordings will help you keep your focus on what you most want in life.  As you maintain your focus with a positive mental attitude, you will tend to attract that which you think about.

  6. Idea Generator.   As you listen to the recordings, you will find ideas will flash into your mind.  These may be new insights, solutions to problems, or ideas for new businesses.

These are just some of the ways that these Power Affirmations recordings can help you--when you use them.  Any one of these benefits is probably reason enough to get the recordings and to use them.

Are you inspired to action right now?  If so, then take action now to get started right away.

How Many Repetitions Does It Really Take?

Two of the questions I'm asked most often is "How many times do I need to repeat an affirmation before I begin to notice positive results?"  And, "How many days do I need to repeat the affirmations?"

Everyone is different, so there's no definite answer to that; however I can give you some guidelines.  These suggestions assume you are using recordings.  I have found it is extremely difficult to get enough repetitions without recordings.

  1. Just get started.  Before you try to "figure things out" just start listening.  Follow your intuition.  You will know how many repetitions work for you.  As you listen to the recordings, you will get new ideas for using the affirmations.  I've been using the recordings for over 10 years now and I still get new ideas.

  2. Review the printed lists of affirmations to select the ones that resonate the most with you right now.  Again, follow your intuition.  Your subconscious mind will guide you to select the affirmations that are best for you.  Put those in a playlist and listen to the list at least 2 to 3 times per day as you have time.  My favorite place to listen is when I'm getting dressed in the morning and in the car.

  3. For the affirmations you really, really want to get, listen about 50 times in a row at least twice a day.  W. Clement Stone suggest that you repeat an affirmation at least 50 times in the morning and before you go to bed for at least 30 days.

That's hard for most people to do consistently without the aid of recordings.  But with these recordings and a digital player or your computer, this is really easy.  Just copy the same track 10 times within the same playlist.  Because of the way I've designed my system, the transition from one track to the next is seamless.  This is important because it frees you to meditate on the affirmation.

If you are listening on CD, it will be easier to just use the repeat function on your CD player.  A CD will only hold about 70 minutes of audio.  While you certainly can use the same technique of copying a single track multiple times, unlike a digital player, every copy uses up space on the CD.  I strongly recommend that you get a digital player if you can afford it.

My favorite digital player is the iPod iTouch.  It has a small speaker that makes it easy to listen without headphones.  What I do is turn it on the first thing in the morning and listen to a few affirmation before I even get out of bed.

  4. When in doubt add more repetitions.  Increasing the number of repetitions is the best way I know to speed up your results.

Another Simple Way I Use My Affirmations

Another simple way I use these affirmations is using electronic slides I have created for myself.  You can see the simple slides I've created for myself in the presentations below.  There's one presentation for the original 203 "Classic" Power Affirmations and a second for the 285 Power Affirmations inspired by "The Science of Getting Rich:

Having these files allows me to do two things:

  1. I can pull them up anytime and review them on my computer.  That's a lot easier than reviewing them in paper form.

  2. I can print out specific affirmations and post them where I will see them often.  When I do this, I usually only print out one or two affirmation at a time.

When you get the recordings, you also get these two slide presentations as PDFs.  I'm including these to make it as easy as possible for you to get the most value from the affirmations as quickly as possible.

Own All 488 Power Affirmations Recordings within Minutes

The recordings were made in a Hollywood recording studio, so the audio is crisp, clear, CD quality.

Because each MP3 is separate, you can create your own custom playlists.  So, if you find 5 that you really want to focus on, you can create a playlist for just those affirmations.  Your personal playlists can contain any of the affirmations you want in any order you want.  They are all organized and indexed to the hardcopy list in text format, so it's easy to track down the exact affirmations you want to listen to.  If you think of the 488 Power Affirmations as 488 individual  "songs," you have the right idea exactly.

In the first collection of 203 Power Affirmations recordings, there are 6 categories:

  1. The Power of Power Affirmations (31 affirmations)
  2. Creating a Powerful Self-Image (47 affirmations)
  3. Achieving Your Goals (27 affirmations)
  4. Creating Physical Health, Power, and Vitality (26 affirmations)
  5. Creating Power Relationships (36 affirmations)
  6. Creating Wealth and Financial Abundance (36 affirmations)

To create these affirmations, I poured through dozens of books, audio programs, and seminars  by such people as Napoleon Hill, Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Dale Carnegie, Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Earl Nightingale, and many, many others.  I gathered the most important ideas and translated them to affirmations.

The second collection that is also included in the package consists of 285 Power Affirmations recordings, covers "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles.  I went through that book in microscopic detail.  My personal goal was to master the most important ideas from the book.

From the Preface to the final chapter, I've covered the entire book in detail.  Here's a list of the chapters with the number of affirmations in each:

Preface (6 affirmations)

Chapter 1: The Right To Be Rich (18 affirmations)

Chapter 2: There Is A Science of Getting Rich (13 affirmations)

Chapter 3: Is Opportunity Monopolized? (11 affirmations)

Chapter 4: The First Principle in The Science of Getting Rich (15 affirmations)

Chapter 5: Increasing Life (19 affirmations)

Chapter 6: How Riches Come To You (17 affirmations)

Chapter 7: Gratitude (22 affirmations)

Chapter 8: Thinking in The Certain Way (24 affirmations)

Chapter 9: How To Use The Will (16 affirmations)

Chapter 10: Further Use of The Will (12 affirmations)

Chapter 11: Acting in The Certain Way (33 affirmations)

Chapter 12: Efficient Action (18 affirmations)

Chapter 13: Getting into The Right Business (12 affirmations)

Chapter 14: The Impression of Increase (22 affirmations)

Chapter 15: The Advancing Person (12 affirmations)

Chapter 16: Some Cautions and Concluding Observations (14 affirmations)

Chapter 17: A Summary of The Science of Getting Rich (1 affirmation)

I also include my special edition of "The Science of Getting Rich in PDF format so you can see the affirmations right next to the text that inspired them.  You can scan through the entire document online right now:

You will probably find it easier to read by expanding the document to fill the screen using the "Full" button on the menu bar.

You can own a copy of Power Affirmations edition of "The Science of Getting Rich" in electronic format that you can print out for further reference when you get the recordings.

I also include a version without the Power Affirmations so that you have multiple ways of studying the book.

Would You Like to Listen to These Recordings
on Your Computer or Burn them to a CD?

You can do that.  If you don't have a digital player (like the iPod), you can easily burn the recordings to a regular CD that can be played on any CD player.  Or you can listen on your computer.  If you need to burn the recordings to a CD, you can use free software like iTunes or Windows Media Player.

60 Day Money Back Guarantee

I want you to be more than satisfied with your investment--I want you to be thrilled and excited.  I want you to love these recordings so much that you use them for years and years to come.  I made the original recordings over 10 years ago.  I've listened to them hundreds of times.   And I still love listening to them today.

Why Is The Investment So Low for So Much Content?

My reason is simple.  My focus is on sincere and outstanding service, not money.  I'm more interested in helping a lot of people than making a huge profit on each transaction.  The fact is that these are high quality recordings made in a Hollywood recording studio.   You can hear the quality of the audio for yourself by listening to the samples above.

There are over 8 hours of recordings plus several PDFs that I've collected.  For example, "As  a Man Thinketh" by James Allen (with Power Affirmations in text form).  And "Thought Vibration:  Or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World" by William Walker Atkinson.

I think most products on the internet are over priced--especially when they are distributed electronically.  I have eliminated all material and shipping costs and passed the savings on to my customers.
