"Beyond the Secret" DVD Sneak Peek

Here's a 5 minute sneak peek of the "Beyond the Secret" DVD that is scheduled to be released on June 23. 

My Initial Thoughts After Attending the Premiere

On Thursday June 18, 2009, I was fortunate enough to attend the Hollywood premiere of "Beyond the Secret."

"Beyond the Secret" was conceived by Holli Walker and directed by her husband Rick Walker.  Starring in the movie are Holli Walker, Bob Proctor, Marcia Wieder, Les Brown, Mary Morrissey, Paul Martinelli, Mark Moffitt, Christian Simpson, Steve Siebold, and Rickie Byars Beckwith. 

I really enjoyed the movie and feel that it will help a lot of people improve their lives.  There were some real gems in the movie that jumped out at me.  While all of the segments were great, the ones that stood out to me the most with just one viewing were the segments with Bob Proctor, Marcia Wieder (the Dream Coach and a practical dreamer), Les Brown (the man really knows how to turn a phrase), Christian Simpson, and Mary Morrissey. 

Like "The Secret," this is a movie that you will want to watch multiple times in order to absorb all of the great ideas. 

Once I get my copy of the DVD on Tuesday and have a chance to watch it several times, I will update my thoughts about the movie.  It was far too deep to absorb in one viewing (which is a good sign).

One bonus that will be included with the DVD that was not presented at the preview (for obvious reasons) is Holli sitting down and interviewing each of the stars in the movie.

I also found out from Holli that the publisher plans to eventually produce both a book and an audio recording of the content in the movie; however, there is no definite date set as to when those will be released.  I personally believe that it is critical that they do that because it gives people a way to more thoroughly study the material.  In my case, when "The Secret" came out, I purchased the DVD, the book, and the audio.  And because of that, the material had a much more positive impact on my life.

If you loved "The Secret," you will also love "Beyond the Secret."  I recommend that you get it, watch it, and take action towards achieving your dreams.

Oh, and one other note.  While at the premiere, I had a chance to speak with the copyright holders of the movie and they have tentatively agreed to allow me to prepare a series of Power Affirmations inspired by the movie to submit to them for consideration.  It's far too early to tell what their final decision will be or what they may want to do with them after I'm done, but they seemed very enthusiastic with the idea. 

I also had the opportunity to give a copy of all of my existing material to most of the presenters.  Perhaps this will lead to other Power Affirmations projects that will help people like you and me apply these great ideas to improve our lives.
